Marissa J. Neel is an experienced litigation attorney with more than a decade of experience handling medical malpractice, insurance defense, and complex civil litigation matters. She defends physicians, hospitals, and long-term care facilities in a wide range of matters, including medical malpractice and nursing home claims.  Prior to joining the firm, Marissa served as an Associate at a Buffalo-based law firm where she defended healthcare providers in medical malpractice actions. She also spent several years with a national insurance company, where she managed a large and diverse litigation portfolio involving bodily injury, property damage, and construction-related claims.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Communication from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2006, Marissa went on to obtain her law degree from the University at Buffalo Law School in 2011.  Marissa is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
